For sixty years, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum has been celebrating the art, culture, and
natural history of the Morongo Basin through educational exhibits, adult and children’s
programming, and special events.
The museum is located at 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway in the Yucca Valley
Community Center Complex on North Dumosa Avenue. Operating hours are
Wednesday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no admission fee,
but donations are appreciated.
