YOUTH COMMISSION
Join the Yucca Valley Youth Commission!

BENEFITS:
• Be the voice of young people in our community.
• Serve your community and develop great job skills.
• Gain volunteer experience for college applications.
Junior High & High School students are welcome to
apply (Gr 7-12).
HOW TO APPLY: Applications are available online at
www.yucca-valley.org (scan QR code) or pick one
up at the community center or local school of昀椀ce.
Must apply by September 3, 2025.
TERM: Appointments are made in the fall - members
serve throughout the school year.
MEETINGS: The Youth Commission meets regularly on
the 昀椀rst Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the YVCC.
Workshops are scheduled as needed.
ACTIVITIES: Each year, the Youth Commission designs a unique
Work Plan to serve the community. The Youth Commission strives
to communicate with young people through forums, events and
service projects.
